Since 1989, Sana Hastakala has worked with over 1,000 Nepalese artisans to increase their income and self-sufficiency. The non-profit revives and preserves traditional craft techniques, while developing new skills and product ideas for global markets. Since artisans work from home, they can care for their children in a safe work environment; and with the fair wage they earn, they can build their own homes, and provide education and healthcare for their children.
