Creating a World of Good
World of Good offers three programs that allows organizations to use our fair trade gifts, housewares and accessories to raise money, promote fair trade and support artisan communities.
1. Fundraising Product Kit
This program allows your group to raise funds for your organization by selling beautiful fair trade gifts, accessories and housewares at events, fundraisers or your organization's retail store.
How it Works
- Complete the fundraising application (MS Word -84k)and fax or email it to us
- Choose products that you would like from www.originalgood.com and depending on the size of your total purchase you would receive the appropriate fundraising discount
- Sell the products, raise funds for your organization and raise awareness about fair trade!!!
World of Good will provide:
- Each product comes with a pre-priced tag that explains the story of the product and/or the artisan community that crafted it.
- Brochures and educational materials about fair trade and World of Good to explain our product line
- A detailed invoice for contents of your package
- Help choosing appropriate products if you require it
What you need to do
- Complete the fundraising application and email it to fundraising@worldofgood.com or fax it to 510.528.8440 Attn: Fundraising Program
- Once we approve your application we will send you a discount coupon depending on your purchase quantity:
- A purchase of $500 (retail) or more will qualify for a 30% discount
- A purchase of $1000 (retail) or more will qualify for a 40% discount
- Shop worldofgood.com and enter the fundraising discount code when you are done
- Pay for the package using a major credit card
- Verify you have received everything on the invoice and call us immediately with any discrepancies
- Educate your volunteers and classmates about fair trade and the World of Good concept so they can help communicate it to others
- Contact us if there are any problems with the products
2. Campus Bookstore Program
You can also advocate that your campus bookstore install a World of Good fair trade kiosk into the campus gift shop. They will work with World of Good as one of our regular retail locations - and your campus club will receive 20% of the initial order.
