About your producer community

	Eg: The producer community mainly consists of women weavers who have broken tradition to learn how to weave. This has traditionally been a male dominated occupation. Most are single women have learned the art of weaving so they can earn an income instead of depending on the government for compensation & aid.

	Eg1 - for the community: With the profits generated we have created a community managed micro finance fund for the producer group. This enables the producers to take loans on local terms & conditions, etc.
	Eg2 - better work conditions: We have been able to streamline the production processes to make the work place more productive. Handlooms were introduced as they produced fabric wider than than the pit looms, and thus were more efficient. We have been able to convert a typical cottage industry to a more sustainable industry.
