These Tasar silk stoles are woven from yarn hand-spun in villages of Jharkhand, India then sold to local weavers in Bhagalpur, Bihar, giving traditional artisans threatened by mass production a fighting chance. They work at home, are company shareholders and use no chemical dyes — what a wonderful weave!
